Unforgettable 16 Day Everest Base Camp Trek

Join us on an adventure of a lifetime as we take you embark on this epic Everest base camp trek.  The journey takes you through some of the most breathtaking and dramatic mountain scenery in the world. The route from Lukla to Everest Base Camp is through the Khumbu Valley where you will be surrounded by some of the highest mountains in the world.  This is definitely one of the best trekking routes in terms of majestic scenery, a humbling cultural experience and an overall ‘mind-blowing, kick-ass’ experience.

We spend two days discovering the epic town of Kathmandu-from the Monkey Temple, the sacred Hindu Temple of Pashupatinath and the bustling streets of the Thamel District. Our accommodation on the trek is in the various villages on route that are set against soaring, snow covered and jagged pinnacles of the many Himalayan Giants from Amadablam, Pumori, Lhotse and of course….the Mother Goddess herself, Everest. You will get to know and understand the unique and humbling culture of the mountain people known as Sherpas.

The hiking trails are lined with mani stones and engraved with ancient Tibetan Buddhist prayers. You will be taken on a journey into the spiritual lives of the Sherpa people and how the mountains play such an important role in their daily lives. You will discover how the Sherpa people are able to survive; how they grow food in an otherwise infertile soil; how they interact and trade amongst each other. You will be invited into remote mountain monasteries where you will spend time immersing yourself in the ancient chants of the monks.
