Our active tours have been designed for the more energetic travellers with a sense of adventure. If you are looking for a more fast-paced, high energy adrenaline type adventure holiday we have the trip for you.
From surfing to kayaking to shark diving. We also cater for tours that are a tad more laid back but also involve a little bit of active involvement. South Africa is a country that oozes untouched, dramatic and diverse scenery. The Drakensberg Mountains, for example inspired Tolkien to write the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Apart from the jagged stone-gilt edges of the mountains, the valley walls have a running line of gothic-like rock ‘towers’ looming ominously into the sky. Each has a name and these naturally-sculptured formations give a surreal feel to the place. Ranked as one the top ten hikes in the world.
We have an absolute passion for this land and we have handpicked some incredible adventures where you will find yourself surrounded by some of the best scenery in Africa. And on a lot of the tours, civilisation is left behind in a cloud of dust from our faithful stead, a Landrover Defender. We like to keep our tours pretty small so that we do not lose the intimacy of the experience.
