This Pilanesberg day tour takes you to the Pilanesberg National Park is a cradle of life. Nestled in an extinct volcano crater covering nearly 500 square kilometers of rolling African savannah and bush that is home to an astounding number of wildlife from antelope, zebra and giraffe to lions to the noble African elephant.

Our Pilanesberg Day Tour – About the Pilanesberg
The Pilanesberg is situated about 2 hours from Johannesburg and is home to over 10,000 mammal species and an array of plant species. As with most reserves within Africa due to the expansion of urban humans, the entire 500 square km park is fenced to keep the animals in. An unfortunate scenario that was bound to happen given the massive population growth of humans.

An absolutely amazing tour. I had a day to spare in Johannesburg on route to London. I got hold Of South Africa Adventures and they provided a really incredible experience. We were lucky enough to see lions and rhinos within a few metres of each other. The Pilanesberg is a hidden gem that you need to go see

Outstanding trip!! Well organized. We had a day spare in transit and decided that the Pilanesberg day tour looked appealing. The guide was incredible. His knowledge of the animals and their various behavior traits was out of this world. He went out of his way to make sure we saw most of the animals from elephants to zebra and giraffe. Best safari experience ever!!! So many animals!!! Our guide went out of his way to ensure we got to see as many of the wildlife as possible. And what a friendly and informative guy. The guide really made a difference to the atmosphere of the tour. And we went in an open air game drive with just myself and my husband. So we had exclusive treatment.
Best day tour in SA!!!! The guide was incredible!! He showed us some amazing and different things. For example he was telling us about the hornbill that seals his mate in a nest and feeds her through the hole to protect the eggs from predators. And showed us the African weeping wattle that cries. From the bugs that secrete a foam. And we also got to see a funeral procession of elephants from a bull elpehant that had been killed in a fight

Hello. I took this tour today with Shade, who was a terrific host (bad jokes aside!) I had a great day. Weather was not the best, but it didn’t stop us in any way.
