Most of these hidden gems lie deep in our national parks and mountainous regions accessed only on foot or by our trusty old 1989 Landrover Defender. These are the the places that helped create our fondest childhood holiday memories. Places we proposed to our spouses at. Places we learnt about life. They are secret hideaways that we’ve always kept under our well worn hiking boots – until now.

We have recruited some of the best local guides in South Africa. They have an absolute passion for what they do. Most of the guides have been walking in the Drakensberg since they were kids. So they have intimate knowledge of the locations we hike in. Their job is to make sure you have a great experience. But “great” isn’t enough in our view. It has to be exceptional, and leave a lasting imprint on you. That’s why we take great care when it comes to recruiting our guiding team.
