The Kruger Park is South Africa’s number one wildlife and safari destination. With an incredible abundance of fauna and flora, our 3 day Kruger park safari from Johannesburg offers an authentic and unforgettable safari experience. Pure beauty, the stillness and peace of the African bush, wild animals and camp fire stories.

The Kruger Park is situated about 5 hours’ drive from Johannesburg and is over 19,000 square kilometres of pure awesomeness. The park is not only home to the Big 5 ( Lion, Buffalo, elephant, leopard and Rhino) but an abundance of other wildlife species as well from zebra, to giraffe, to impala to hippo.

Overview of the tour

The duration is 3 days and 2 nights and we visit the Sabie River Area. The accommodation for the 2 nights is in one of the luxury rooms at the Sabie River Bush Lodge which is situated on the banks of iconic Sabie River. The resort is a mere 19km from the main gate of the Kruger. The resort is situated in the southern part of the Kruger which is well known for its lion and leopard sightings.

Our tour includes transport from Johannesburg, open air game drives, all meals and park entrance fees. You will be accompanied by one of tour guides from the start of the tour right through to when you get dropped off again.

The drive through to the Kruger takes about 5 hours. The tour includes a full day if game viewing as well as a late afternoon/ evening game drive where all the action in Africa takes place. Night-time is when the lions hunt and prey are of course….. Nervous for obvious reasons-An exciting time indeed.

Day 1

Our tours begin and end in Johannesburg

Travel day. Pick up is scheduled from 06H00 from centrally located hotels within the Johannesburg area. We take the 5 hour drive down the escarpment into the scenic lowveld area. We should arrive at the Sabie River Bush Lodge by about 1pm. We get you checked into your room. You then have time to chill and freshen up. At 4:30pm we depart for the Paul Kruger Gate for a 3 hour late afternoon/evening game drive. We aim to be back by 8:30pm. Then it’s a scrumptious dinner under the African skies.

Day 2

Wake up call at 05H00.An early and activity packed day. We leave the camp at 5:30 am and spend the whole day on an open air game drive through the Kruger in search of animals. Breakfast will be provided on the drive as well as a nice cup of coffee. We should be back by 6pm. Dinner from 7:30pm
