South Africa’s Best Star Bed Safaris

If you are looking for a different kind of South African Safari, then you definitely need to discover the new way of experiencing the true magic of Africa. What can be better than cuddling up with your loved one in a cosy bed in the heart of a pristine South African safari setting. And to add to that magic, imagine falling asleep under the Milky Way to the sounds of distant lions roaring, giggling hyenas and the rhythmical calls of hippos. The only thing between you and the infinite galaxy above is your mosquito net. The roof of your lodge being replaced with a panoramic, 360-degree view of the Heavens above. It is with no surprise that the local safari lodges came up with the name of a ‘Star-Bed’. Small group safaris

In our experience, the smaller the group the better the experience. A smaller group allows for a more intimate and interactive wildlife experience. Our guides can connect and engage with smaller groups better that larger ones. That is why we have decided to keep our group sizes small.

Safari like a local

We don’t do commercial!! There is a lot of information out there illustrating all types of South African safari tour options. We have decided to avoid the norm. We have opted to create tours that us as locals would enjoy. We take travellers to places that don’t necessarily make it onto the hotspot exposure areas on the internet. This means we can show you what a real safari is all about. All of our tours are accompanied by our passionate guides who will immerse you into their world that is a mixture of culture, wildlife and our heritage.

The Kruger National Park

We have showcased a few of our most popular safari tours below. Most of our tours are to the Kruger National Park. This reserve is by far the wildlife capital of South Africa. It is home to an abundance of animal species including the iconic Big 5 (lion, leopard, African elephant, Buffalo and rhino. It is recognised as one of the most diverse ecosystems in the world. Over 7% of all the worlds animals can be found here. It is also home to the Big 5 of trees ( Boabab, fever, knob thorn, marula and Mopane).
